Clippers Announce 2007-08 Preseason Schedule

The Los Angeles Clippers will open the 2007-08 NBA preseason on October 9th when they face Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Los Angeles will then travel to Portland for an October 10th matchup against Greg Oden, the first overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, and the Portland Trail Blazers. The Clippers play their last preseason game away from STAPLES Center when they travel to Oakland to face the Golden State Warriors on October 14th.

Upon their return from the road, the Clippers will face the Phoenix Suns at STAPLES Center on October 18th. The Clippers will then take part in the Lakers Preseason Shootout at STAPLES Center on October 20th and 21st with Los Angeles again matching-up against the Suns on the 20th at 4:30 PM. The Clippers follow that up with a contest against either the Lakers or the Charlotte Bobcats that will tip-off at either 4:30 PM or 7:30 PM on the 21st. Day two of the Lakers Shootout features a “winners vs. winners” and “losers vs. losers” format based on the results from the October 20th games.

Los Angeles closes out the preseason with two consecutive home games at STAPLES Center. On October 24th, the Clippers face the Sacramento Kings and on October 26th the Golden State Warriors visit Los Angeles.
