CLIPPERS - SUNS NOTES
- Phoenix swept a back-to-back series with the Clippers on Dec. 27 and Dec. 28,
downing the Clips in Los Angeles 108-88 on Dec. 27 behind 30 points from Amare
Stoudemire....The next night, Dec. 28 in Phoenix, the Clippers hung tough as Chris
Kaman provided 22 points and 20 rebounds before eventually falling 94-88 as
Stoudemire again paced Phoenix with 28 points.
- CONNECTIONS: Clippers forward Tim Thomas played in 26 regular season
games for Phoenix in 2005-06, averaging 15.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 31.9
minutes in 20 postseason games for the Suns…Clippers assistant coach
Rory White was drafted by Phoenix in the fourth round of the 1982 NBA
Draft…Clippers forward Brian Skinner played last season for the Suns...Suns
