The Clippers own the 53rd pick in the 2012 NBA Draft and to get an idea of who might be available we compiled 11 popular mock drafts to create a consensus or aggregate big board.

    • The list includes experts such as ESPN draft guru Chad Ford and Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated as well as respected websites like Draft Express and Hoopsworld.

    In order to determine who went where, a value for each player was assigned based on the draft position that was predicted. For example, all 11 mocks had Kentucky star Anthony Davis going first overall. Therefore, Davis would get 11 "points." That number was then divided by 11 (the number of mock drafts used) to get an "average" draft position.

    Obviously, Davis received a 1.00, but it gets a little more complicated the further you move down the list. North Carolina small forward Harrison Barnes was listed as high as No. 2 and as a low as No. 6 on the 11 draft boards. His aggregate was 46 and when divided by 11 it gave Barnes a score of 4.18, good for No. 4 overall.

    According to the data, the Clippers could select Missouri's Kim English, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard, at No. 53. Alabama's JaMychal Green, Ohio State's William Buford, Syracuse's Kris Joseph, and West Virginia's Kevin Jones were among the players who also landed near the slot.
