An early entry candidate for the 2008 NBA Draft. Career Highlights: Earned Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 honors. Also named to the league’s All-Freshman Team. Holds the fourth-highest single season mark in school history for field goal percentage (.575). Enrolled at USC in the spring of 2007 and sat out while concentrating on academics. Freshman (2007-08): Ranked second on the team in scoring (12.1 ppg) and rebounding (6.3 rpg, ranked 10th in the Pac-10). Finished fifth in the league in field goal percentage (.575) and ninth in blocked shots (1.0 bpg). Scored in double figures 19 times and topped the 20-point mark in three games. High School: Finished prep career at The Patterson School, averaging 20 points and 12 rebounds in half of a season before leaving the team in February to enroll early at USC. As a high school senior in 2005-06 at Lynwood, averaged 26.0 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists. Strengths: Extremely quick for his size and possesses a tremendous vertical leap.
