Elias Harris, SF, Gonzaga
Harris is an aggressive, high-flying combo forward, who has NBA athleticism and with good hands. He can rebound, run the floor, and has potential as a defensive player. The problems that arise with Harris tend to stem from a lack of a complete offensive game and his age (will turn 24 in July). To some extent, Harris remained much the same player after a breakout freshman year at Gonzaga. However, last season he showed improvements in his ability to face up among other things. Most mock drafts predict Harris as a borderline second-round pick.
“An extremely athletic hybrid type forward, Harris is capable of doing damage inside and out,” Borko Popic of NBA Draft.net wrote. “Very quick off his feet, he also has a long strides, making him a tough guard out of the triple threat.”
