It's Whitney, and I can't tell you how excited I am to be back for my fourth year on the Clippers Spirit! I'm looking forward to a great season of fun and excitement on the court, and I can’t wait to get to know more of our fans. In case you haven't met me before, here's a few things you might find interesting about me. I'm probably the busiest person you will ever know. I never really know if I'm coming or going, but as long as I can get a Red Bull, I’m good to go wherever! I absolutely love the Clippers, Angels, Nascar, and the X-Games. My family and I are originally from Missouri but I grew up here in southern California. I was raised in Long Beach and am a proud 49'er graduate. Go Beach! After my undergrad days, I earned my multiple subject credential at Cal State Fullerton, and I’m now in my third year as an elementary school teacher, teaching fourth grade. After a long day's work, I spend my evenings at the "Mouse House" parading down Main Street in Disneyland's Parade of Dreams. If I'm not practicing with the Spirit or dancing throughout Disneyland, you might not find me because chances are I'm out of town! I absolutely love traveling, but when I can't get away you can find me doing any number of things. In my free time I enjoy taking yoga classes, working out, hanging out at home, going to concerts, wakeboarding, riding on my beach cruiser, or just playing at the beach. I am a Huntington local but wherever the water meets the sand, there too I will be! In the off-season you'll definitely find me at an Angels’ game cheering on Garret Anderson and Chone Figgins somewhere along the left field line. So now you know, I'm just a local girl with a contagious laugh who loves to have a great time. I love Clipper Nation and cherish all the conversations, events, opportunities, memories, and friendships it has shared with me. I love life and thank God daily for my family and close friends. I have been blessed with true friendships and a great amount of love in my life. I'm looking forward to my fourth season on the team and I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us: new girls, a new roster, new fans, and new experiences. It's going to be a great year!
