This is my first year dancing for the Clippers Spirit, so let me introduce myself. My name is Teresa, and I am a native San Diegan. I was born and raised in the city of Chula Vista, and I began taking dance lessons at the young age of two. A year ago, I thought I would try my luck in the entertainment industry, and decided to make the move from San Diego to Orange County. It has always been my passion to be on stage performing - be it dancing, singing, or even acting - and when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the chance as fast as I could!
In addition to being a member of the Spirit, I enjoy working full time for the biggest cheese of all - Mickey Mouse! You can find me parading through Disney’s California Adventure in many different shows. Having the ability to impact the guests’ day and put a smile on their faces is the reason I absolutely love what I do. When I’m not on the court or at Disneyland, you can probably find me at the beach surfing, kayaking, or sailing. I also use my free time to drive down to San Diego and visit my family and friends. I really love staying busy at the gym or pool, but sometimes I enjoy just relaxing home, watching a movie, and baking chocolate chip cookies.
Most people might ask, "Why did you start dancing at such a young age?" The simple reason is because my mom opened her own dance studio before I was born. As a child, I practically lived at our studio, loving and cherishing every moment of it. I really do owe all of my talents (inherited and learned) to my mom. She has always been my biggest inspiration, and she continues to be my biggest fan, so thanks for everything, Mom!
I am so excited to be a part of the Clippers Spirit this year, and I can’t wait to perform out on the court for all the fans. I feel so lucky to be on a team with so many talented and genuine women, and look forward to all of the fun times to come.
