My name is Lauren and I can’t tell you how excited I am for my first year on the Clippers Spirit Dance Team. Besides my family and friends, dancing is my life, and I feel truly honored to be a part of such a great organization. Last year I danced for the NBA D-League’s Anaheim Arsenal, but that didn’t even come close to my experiences with the Clippers Spirit. It has been my life long dream to become an NBA dancer, so you could say I’m living out my dreams by dancing for the Spirit. I am a full-time college student, and I always find a way to keep myself busy. If I’m not in class, I’m probably either dancing or working. I have been a surf instructor since I was 16, and nothing could be more rewarding to me. More than being able to spend time at the beach, I absolutely love inspiring young girls reach their dreams of becoming true California surfers. This past year, I also had a blast working for Disneyland. No matter how busy I may be, I always have time for some good eats with my family and friends. I am half Italian and half Hispanic, so you can definitely find me eating pasta or tamales any day of the week. For me, time spent with my family and friends are what make my life complete. This year I am looking forward to performing and entertaining at STAPLES Center. The Clippers Spirit is made up of such beautiful and talented dancers, and I feel so blessed for this opportunity. I have been dancing for the past 16 years of my life, loving every minute of it, and I can’t wait for the next year spent with the Clippers Spirit! Five things most people don’t know about me:
