You may not know where he sits or even see him during the games, but House DJ Jeremy Roueche, the man behind a lot of the music and sounds you hear before and during games, is heading into his fifth season with the Los Angeles Clippers. Besides DJ'ing sporting events for the Clippers, Los Angeles Dodgers and the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, Roueche is a highly sought after club and event DJ. Roueche has DJ'd everywhere from SAG and People’s Choice Awards after parties to Universal Music Group and Interscope Records album release and Grammy parties. Roueche, who began DJ'ing at the age of 17, grew up in Virginia just outside of Washington D.C. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 1997, he began working in the music industry at Maverick Records, which is part owned by Madonna. (And yes, he has met Madonna.) In 2002, Roueche started his own DJ Company, VALA Entertainment, and has been DJing full time ever since. Roueche credits a lot of his success to being able to read a crowd. “If you know how to read the crowd, you can rock any event,” he says.
