My name is Brilane and this is my first year on the Clippers Spirit Dance Team. I am very excited to be part of this wonderful team! I was born and raised in Moreno Valley, so expanding my horizon outside of the Inland Empire is becoming a great experience for me. I am a college student and I am working towards achieving a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies so I can pursue a career as an elementary school teacher. School has always been a top priority for me and my determination has led me to many scholastic honors. Aside from school, dancing is my passion. I have been dancing since I was three years old and I have always had a love for entertaining people. I have worked as a ballet teacher, a college tutor, and a Best Buy cashier. When I am not dancing, working, or at school, I love to hang out with my friends or family to have a great time. I enjoy traveling and being outdoors because when youʼre outside, there is always something to do. I love snowboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, camping, fishing, hiking, swimming, and bonfires. I volunteer with the elementary aged students at my church on Sundays, which has actually inspired me to want to teach. Iʼm also into art, reading, yoga, playing music, and shopping. Sports are a big part of my family and I love watching baseball and basketball games! This season, I am really looking forward to being out on the court and getting all of the fans pumped up for the Clippers so everyone can have a great time. I am also looking forward to all of the bonds that will be made between the Spirit team, the fans, and the community. I feel so blessed to be a part of the team and I thank God everyday for giving me this opportunity which I will never take for granted. I cannot wait to see all of you on the court for a great season! Here are my top five favorite things:
