Greetings Clipper Nation! My name is Taylor and I am excited to be back for my fourth season with the Los Angeles Clippers Spirit Dance Team. I was born in Manhattan, Kansas (not to be confused with Manhattan, New York or Manhattan Beach) and grew up here in the Southland. I’ve been dancing for as long as I can remember. I have performed on Star Search, in the NFL Pro Bowl with Jennifer Love Hewitt, and most recently the 2006 ESPY Awards with Lance Armstrong. I hold a degree in Radiologic Technology as well as a Special Imaging Certificate in Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from Loma Linda University. I am also nationally licensed in Radiography (X-ray), Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR). I currently work as a CT/MRI technologist in Long Beach, CA where I scan body parts all day long. Essentially, we introduce X-rays (in CT) and radio frequency waves (in MRI) into the body and depending on how the body reacts, we get images. Sounds fun, huh? No, really it is! I am so proud to work in this field and truly enjoy doing work that makes a difference in peoples’ lives. Watch the video to learn more about what I do for a living!
I am looking forward to dancing my heart out this season! Every year has been so different and I can’t wait to show off everything this group can do. Being a member of the Spirit gives me such a good balance between my full-time career and doing what I love to do. I am so thankful to be a member of the Los Angeles Clippers Spirit Dance Team.
