I took my first hip-hop class when I was nine years old from, guess who…SHANE SPARKS! So, it was a very special experience for me to have him at our auditions this year. I also studied jazz and danced for my high school song leading team. Thanks to my experience with the Clippers and graduating from Cal State Long Beach as an Interpersonal Communications major, I am very motivated to work towards a master’s degree in Dance and Sports Entertainment.

Currently, I’m a head instructor for the United Spirit Association, a cheerleading and dance training company in the Western states. I also work in the film and TV industry. I’ve been a featured dancer on NBC’s Sports Illustrated Model Search, in commercials for K-Swiss and the 2005 Superbowl, and performed on stage for Nickelodeon with Bow Wow and at the NFL Pro Bowl with the Backstreet Boys.

Last season I was fortunate enough to visit Germany and represent the Clippers by performing for the U.S. troops stationed at the Darmstadt military base. Most recently, I got to fulfill my dream of teaching dance in Japan to professional dance teams and children. I can’t wait to go back!

Some fun facts about me…I love to wake up early in the morning because breakfast is my favorite meal! Yum! I enjoy working out with friends at the morning boot camps I attend. I like anything that is the color green. India Arie is the most played CD in my car. My most prized possessions are cards that have been given to me on special days throughout my life - I love going back and reading them.

The Clippers Spirit has shined such a positive light on my life. It’s helped me to take risks, stay goal-oriented, and to think with my heart. Dancing with a group of such genuine and talented women has enabled me to lead a successful and well-balanced life. I look forward to taking big strides this season by giving the fans everything this dance team has to offer.
