I’m Ashley and this is my rookie year on the Clippers Spirit Dance Team. I am originally from the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, where I was born and raised and began dancing at the age of three.

I recently graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, where I gained my BFA in Jazz Dance Performance. Also, while in school, I managed to find time to be a cheerleader for the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles for three seasons. Whether we were cheerleading in the brutal heat or the freezing cold, it was an experience of a lifetime, but I am excited to get on the court!

Being the spontaneous woman that I am, I will try almost anything once, including moving across the country to Los Angeles to pursue my career in the performing arts industry. Dance is definitely a true passion of mine, and I have had many opportunities in the field including performing at the 2005 Super Bowl, the Chinese New Year parade in Hong Kong, and choreographing for dance studios and universities on the East Coast.

I am a very diverse individual. I appreciate all types of music, movies, sports (I never miss Monday Night Football), and especially food, because I love to eat! In my free time, I enjoy shopping, hanging out with friends, and capturing each memorable moment with my digital camera.

Relocating to a new state has been challenging but exhilarating at the same time, and I am very blessed to have found a group of supportive, intelligent women that I can call my team.

This season I look forward to performing at the games for all the fans and making them smile, because that is what being on the Spirit is all about. It is more than just beauty and glamour. It is being unified with one another and demonstrating the passion we have for our team and fans. I am honored to be a part of this team and can’t wait to start this new stage of my life.
