My name is Ashley, and I am from right here in southern California. I am currently in college majoring in Child Development, and I am planning to get my degree and become a Kindergarten teacher. I absolutely love that age. . . sticky fingers and all!

This will be my second year with the Spirit, and so far all of my experiences have been nothing short of amazing. I have been dancing since high school and cheerleading since I was four. And for the record, there is a difference between dancing and cheerleading. Just come to a game and check out the Spirit and Fan Patrol in action to see for yourself!

I have danced in the Block Party Bash parade at Disneyland and I was on the competitive dance team at my university. I also danced for Chivas USA soccer team. One of my favorite jobs has been when I dressed up as Pluto and entertained the crowds at Disneyland. I am currently a songleading instructor for the United Spirit Association, where my love for dance meets my love for teaching.

There are four things that I can not live without. The first would be my savior Jesus Christ, He is my everything, plain and simple. Second goes to my family. My mom raised five children; she is amazing, is she not? My four siblings are by far the coolest people on the planet, I am so blessed to have them in my life. Third would be my sense of humor. I love that I can laugh at myself. Sometimes you just can't take life too seriously! Very few people know this last one, but I am such a bookworm!! On average, I would say I read about four to five books a week. My top five favorite books are:
