Los Angeles Clippers to Host Seven Free Summer Clinics for Local Youths

On Monday, July 17 at 1:00p.m., the Los Angeles Clippers will hold a media availability session to introduce a free week-long series of basketball clinics to be held at seven local parks and recreation centers through the week of July 17-23, 2006.

Clippers owner Donald T. Sterling and Clippers players will be on hand to help launch the seven- day program. Each day-long clinic will host 450 kids ages 6 to 14, at seven different locations in the greater Los Angeles area and will expose the participants to basketball fundamentals. Children in attendance will receive cool tems and books courtesy of the Clippers Read to Achieve program.
