The Los Angeles Clippers have been busy this holiday season surprising children in Southern California with gifts to make this holiday season a little extra special.

A Butler and Jordan Holiday Toy Assist
On Thursday, December 10, 2009, Rasual Butler and DeAndre Jordan surprised 200 children at the Watts Cluster with toys for the holidays. Butler and Jordan bring smiles to children’s faces that might not otherwise receive toys during this Holiday Season.

Watts Cluster includes William Nickerson Recreation Center, Jordan Downs Recreation Center and Imperial Courts Recreation Center and is designed to strengthen youth programs in the Watts Housing Developments. Activities designed to achieve social goals are used to build community and increase "life chances" for youth. By pursuing values based programming which includes ethics, civic organizing, character, womanhood, manhood and other methodologies it is believed that feelings of self-efficacy and self-actualization increase.

Craig Smith's Holiday Assist
On Friday, December 11, 2009, Los Angeles Clippers player Craig Smith and his family assist children in their community this holiday season by providing 160 students at Raymond Avenue Elementary School with presents. Craig’s mother and sister attended Raymond Avenue Elementary and wanted to give back to the school. The children selected need a little extra motivation this holiday season to succeed in reaching their educational goals.

Baron Davis' Holiday Assist
Also on Friday, December 11, 2009 Los Angeles Clippers player Baron Davis gave back to his community this holiday season by providing over 350 students at Southpark Elementary School with gifts. Baron wanted to give back to a school in the community where he grew up and wanted to give back to the children in his community.
