Los Angeles Clippers Point Guard Dan Dickau took part in a very special school assembly at Duff Elementary School that earned over $209,000 Read to Achieve dollars. Each child in attendance received books and school supplies as part of the Clippers Read to Achieve program.

Clippers Forward Quinton Ross took time out to read to the children of Foshay Learning Center, who earned over $268,000 Read to Achieve dollars. Ross read to the students and held a special question and answer session. The event concluded with students receiving books and goodies as part of the Clippers Read to Achieve program.

The goal of the Los Angeles Clippers Read to Achieve for Financial Literacy program is to help students learn about earning, saving and spending through reading. The Financial Literacy Program challenge students in elementary and middle school to invest in their future through reading and to learn about earning, saving and spending with Read to Achieve Dollars. Minutes become currency as the students strive to become literate in the world of student finance and understand how dollars make sense.
