Clippers Celebrate Reading at the Los Angeles Clippers Reading and Learning Center – Children’s Institute Inc. January 19, 2010 The Los Angeles Clippers celebrate reading one of the Los Angeles Clippers reading and learning centers – Children’s Institute Inc. Clippers player Steve Novak took timeout to read to children who were part of an interactive event celebrating reading and education. Each child in attendance received books, Clippers pencils, Read to Achieve t-shirts, tickets and Clippers items as part of the Clippers Read to Achieve program. The goal of the Los Angeles Clippers READ TO ACHIEVE program is to build a lifelong love of reading in young people by providing greater access to books and technology while encourage families and adults to read regularly with young children. The Clippers Reading and Learning Centers provide the community with hundreds of books, resource guides and reference materials.
