2010-11 Read To Achieve Minutes Challenge Winning Middle School Visit

The Los Angeles Clippers took timeout to recognize the students of the Los Angeles Clippers Read to Achieve Minutes Challenge at West Middle School on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.

Los Angeles Clippers player Craig Smith along with the Clippers Spirit took part in a very special school assembly and reading timeout at West Middle School that tracked over 1,164,000 minutes.

The Clippers Spirit performed at a special assembly where Craig Smith participated in a reading timeout with the top 100 readers from West Middle School.

Following the reading timeout each child in attendance took part in an autograph session and received books as part of the Clippers Read to Achieve program and Clippers gear.

The goal of the Los Angeles Clippers Read to Achieve program is to build a lifelong love of reading in young people by providing greater access to books and technology while encourage families and adults to read regularly with young children.
