The Community Relations Department handles all donation requests. Only written requests on an organization's letterhead submitted to the attention of the Community Relations Department at least forty-five days in advance of the scheduled event are reviewed. Request must include a copy of the organization's 501(c) 3 non-profit documentation.
Each request receives individual attention with priority for events, organizations and charities benefiting children in Southern California. Priority also applies for events that take place during the NBA season. Out of state requests receive a decline unless special circumstances warrant further consideration.
Autographed items are donated to major fundraisers/auctions in the Los Angeles area, while smaller items are donated for raffle prizes, incentive prizes, block parties, school carnivals etc. Schools or community groups involved in Clippers community outreach programs receive additional consideration.
A limit of one request per season exists for all organizations and charities. Consideration for future Clippers donations rely on the timely completion of the Clippers’ Item Donation Form. Completed forms are due two weeks after the date of the event.
