The Clippers' newest swingman chatted live online with fans on March 17th. Check out the complete chat transcript below:
Darshan Patel Los Angeles: Hey great to have you on the team, how are you adjusting to the Clippers playbooks and the rest of the players?
Vladimir Radmanovic: Honestly it was really easy. The team accepted me from the beginning and the coaches also gave me a very clear role right away. Learning the playbook is part of being an NBA player and that has been no problem at all.
Justin (San Pedro): Hey Vladi! Good to see that you are on the Clippers now. How have you liked living in Los Angeles so far?
Vladimir Radmanovic: I'm really enjoying it, coming from Seattle and all that rain. To be in L.A. is like something you wish for.
Tige (Cedar Rapids): What's it like to be reunited with Zeljko Rebraca??
Vladimir Radmanovic: It's very nice. I watched him with our national team and with some European teams when I was younger. Last year I played with him on the Serbian team, so it's great to have a guy like that on my team now in the NBA too.
Sebastian, Los Angeles: Radman you are so good at shooting threes I heard you and Cat had a contest to see who could shoot the most 30-Footers! How far is your range would you say?
Vladimir Radmanovic: I don't have a range! Ha-ha (Laughing) We'll shoot halfcourt, fullcourt, whatever we need to do!
Tim (Whittier, CA): Vlade, I'm happy to see you in a Clippers uni. You said that when you were in Seattle and wore the number 77 that you felt like you were a hockey player for wearing such a high number. Growing up did you play any other sports?
Vladimir Radmanovic: Yes, I played soccer when I was younger. I also ran track and field. Basically basketball wasn't a big thing in my country at that time, but when I turned 14 I picked up the game and now I'm an NBA player. Not bad.
Carla (Detroit): Your braids were great during the playoffs last year. When are you going to bring them back?
Vladimir Radmanovic: Ha-ha (Laughing) I'd have to grow my hair back first. But If I do...maybe....
Andy Santa Monica: What is your favorite music?
Vladimir Radmanovic: I enjoy listening to music from my country. Other than that, hip-hop and rock and roll too. But when I'm alone and I need to relax, I listen to music from my country.
Milosh(Veliko Sredishte): Radman, greetings from Serbia bro'! How is playing with Sam he is one of my favorite point guards?
Vladimir Radmanovic: It's really great playing with Sam. He's been in the league for a long time and he brings the game to a different level. With the opposition and referees, he is a real character and I really enjoy playing with him.
Richard Tran - Santa Ana: First off, welcome to LA. Great to have you. What has been the most difficult adjustment you have had to make wheteher on or off the court since leaving Seattle?
Vladimir Radmanovic: On the court, mostly. Off the court was easy. On the court, I needed to figure out what other players like to do, and then position myself accordingly. But, like I said before, my teammates really made it easy for me, so the transition has been smooth.
Ronald (Riverside, CA): Vladimir, recently you've been shooting close to 60% from 3 point range, which is blazing hot, and your stroke has been incredibly smooth looking. Do you think you will be able to keep it up when it comes play-off time?
Vladimir Radmanovic: Hopefully I will. That's the goal for every player. To keep shooting well, not just in the regular season, but in the playoffs. This would be the first playoffs for the Clippers in awhile, and I'm excited to be a part of it, and I really want to contribute.
Erick, Carlsbad: Hi Vlad Rad, I'm a big fan and I like how you have brought a different dimension to the Clippers. What are you hobbies?
Vladimir Radmanovic: I don't have many hobbies. I just like to sit down in the sun, which I hadn't been able to do for a while. I do some stuff on the computer and listen to music. Not too much.
HenryR Los Angeles: Who are you going to root for the World Cup and who is your favorite Soccer Team and Player
Vladimir Radmanovic: I'm gonna root for Serbia-Montenegra of course. One of my favorite players is Ronaldo and Diego Armando Maradona.
Mario(Bell, Ca): Hey Vladimir, Glad to have you on the team. Do you have any specific pre game routines?
Vladimir Radmanovic: Not really. I just don't like to sleep in the afternoon before the game. That makes me sluggish, so I have something to eat and hang out, to keep from sleeping.
Anthony Pomona: Hey Vlad you guys been playing great as of late do you think you guys can catch the Suns this late in the season? If not who would you guys rather see the Mavs are the Spurs in the first round?
Vladimir Radmanovic: I dont' think we can catch the Suns right now. I hope we can do, but realistically, I don't think we can catch them, despite our best efforts to win all our games. And I think we'd rather face the Mavericks than the Spurs.
Vladimir Radmanovic: Thanks to everybody for your support. Hopefully we will bring you some enjoyment this year with a great season by the Clippers.
