Training Camp Q & A: Corey Maggette
With 2006 Training Camp under way, Clippers.com wants to give the members of Clipper Nation a chance to ask the players and coaches whatever is on your mind.
Kyle Dugan: Since I am a die hard Clippers fan and a fifth grade teacher, I had my students keep track of your "Paying for Victories" last year for the Mattel Children’s Hospital. Do you plan on doing anything like that this year?
Adam Benner: Do you think with this roster the Clippers can win it all this year?
Corey Maggette: We definitely have an opportunity to win it all with this roster. I think the biggest thing now is to take it one game at a time. When we get to that position later on, we can talk about it.
Arzo: I know you have some dunks up your sleeve. Is there any chance of entering the slam dunk contest this year?
Corey Maggette: (Laughing) No way, no way. I'm too old for that now.
Jason Black: I think that you, Shaun, and Tim are a huge three-headed monster to any opposing team. How do you feel about your role on the team? How have you worked on your game during the off-season?
Corey Maggette: My role is going to be pretty much the same. I will come in to give the team a spark, score, or do whatever else I can.

Corey Maggette: I do, I plan on doing something like that this season. I’m not sure if it’s going to be exactly the same as last year, but it will be something similar.

This off-season I basically just worked hard on gaining more speed, agility, and quickness.
