Celtics Waive Center Ernest Brown

BOSTON (October 25, 2004) -- The Boston Celtics announced today that the club has requested waivers on Ernest Brown. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Brown, who signed as a free agent April 14, 2004, appeared in one preseason game with the Celtics, playing three minutes vs. Chicago, October 12. He also appeared in 10 games for the Celtics 2004 summer league team, averaging 4.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 17.6 minutes per game.
