Abby Farrell is an avid basketball player. In fact, you can usually find this ten year old bouncing a basketball. She is a diehard Celtics fan who plays for the Bellingham town league and is more than willing to put in the practice time to become the best basketball player possible. There's only one problem - Abby doesn't have a basketball hoop outside of her home for her to practice. Instead, she uses a tiny hoop in her room and is able to slam dunk a mini basketball with ease.

Abby knows that there is a price to pay in order to be the best player and she is dedicated to working hard and making sacrifices to become a better player. Abby wants her family, friends and community to benefit from her love of the sport and the Celtics. By winning the RE/MAX Home Court Makeover, Abby knows that she will be sharing the benefits of the program with her friends and community while improving her basketball skills.

The Duffley Family is very active in their Manchester community. Both Mr. and Mrs. Duffley are special education teachers and invest their free time in their community. Mr. Duffley is a devoted basketball coach - he coaches at the elementary, college, AAU and summer camp levels. Mrs. Duffley volunteers her time in areas such as her son's school music department and Cub Scout pack.

Their son, Gordon, fell in love with the Celtics at an early age. He attended the Robert Parish and Dee Brown Camp, which was directed by his father, and admires current Celtics Paul Pierce and Delonte West.

Gordon plays basketball in less than optimal conditions. The Duffleys have two hoops in their driveway that all the neighborhood kids use, but one hoop is attached to a barn and the other is sagging from many years of use. The driveway is uneven and cracked and the surrounding fence is falling down. The local kids still make the best of the conditions and spend hours playing full court games and perfecting their skills. More than anything, the Duffleys' want to provide their family and community with the best playing conditions. By winning the RE/MAX Home Court Makeover the kids in their community would benefit for years to come.

Tony is a self proclaimed "Celtics Fanatic" and is thrilled that his son has inherited his passion and love for the team and basketball. Tony's young son knows all about the Celtics lore and aspires to be drafted by the Celtics some day. Right now, he is working on becoming the "World's Best Six Year Old Dribbler".

Tony wants to help his son achieve his goals, but has a difficult time making ends meet. His profession as a teacher at a small school in the local Boston area does not provide him with the means to give his son the ideal basketball court. Currently, his son uses a plastic hoop that is duct taped to the deck. A RE/MAX Home Court makeover would make all of Tony's and his son's dreams come true.
