RE/MAX Home Court Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN: To enter contest, complete the online entry form on celtics.com at [LINK], or mail completed entry to Boston Celtics, Attn: “RE/MAX Home Court Program”, Corporate Partnership Services, 226 Causeway Street, 4th floor, Boston, MA 02114. Banner Seventeen, LLC (d/b/a the Boston Celtics) (“Celtics”), RE/MAX, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, owners, employees, and agents (all collectively, the “NBA Entities”) will not be responsible for lost, misdirected, late, postage due, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information whether caused by participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this contest, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries. Mechanically reproduced or automated entries are not permitted and will be deemed void. ONE ENTRY PER ADDRESS/DRIVEWAY. Incomplete and/or duplicate entries from the same address (or sharing the same driveway) will be void, except in the case of entries from separate households sharing one driveway, which shall be treated as one total entry. The sweepstakes runs from 2/1/12 to 5/15/12. All mail entries must be received by 5/15/12, regardless of entry method. RE/MAX and the Celtics are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, torn, altered, incomplete or illegible entries. By entering this contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of RE/MAX and the Celtics, which shall be final on all matters.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to individuals who are home owners, or have permission of homeowner to complete the makeover, who reside within a 75-mile radius of Boston. Contest not open to employees or immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings and children) of employees of the NBA Entities. Void where prohibited, or otherwise restricted, by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release or prize will be forfeited. If winners cannot be located within three (3) business days of drawing date, alternate winners will be chosen and the prize will be awarded. All entries become property of RE/MAX and the Boston Celtics.

PRIZES. Three (3) winners will be chosen by a Selection Committee consisting of Celtics players/staff and/or local media. In the event a winner cannot be contacted within three (3) business days of drawing date or declines the prize, another winner will be selected. Winner will have their home driveway renovated with sealant, basketball hoop/stanchion, equipment, and Celtics logo (all as necessary). Renovation details shall be selected by the Celtics in their sole discretion. Winner will also participate in a basketball clinic to be held in his/her hometown, hosted by a Celtics player and/or Legend. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and any expenses associated with the sweepstakes, unless otherwise indicated.

ODDS OF WINNING. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. There will be a total of three winners chosen.

MISCELLANEOUS. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these rules. In addition, all entrants agree that the NBA Entities maintain the right to decide all matters and disputes arising from the sweepstakes, and their determination of the winners will be final and binding. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of any prize is permitted, except by sponsors due to prize availability and then with a prize of equal or greater value. By accepting prizes, winners agree that the NBA Entities will have no liability and will be held harmless by winners for any liability, loss, injury, or damage to property or to person, including death, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, participation in, use or misuse of the prizes or participation in the contest, even if caused or contributed to by the negligence of any of the NBA Entities. In consideration for being awarded prizes, winners hereby agree and consent, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of their names and/or likenesses in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by the Boston Celtics, RE/MAX, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, owners, governors, employees and agents, except where prohibited.

ADDITIONAL TERMS. The NBA Entities reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, terminate, or suspend this sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond sponsors’ control corrupt or impair the administration, security or fairness of the contest. The NBA Entities are not responsible for any human error that may occur in the processing of the entries, nor are they responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, communications line failure, theft or destruction of, unauthorized access to, delay in operation, transmission, or distribution of, or alteration of, entries, whether caused by the sender, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this contest, or otherwise. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or web site; to be acting in violation of these rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods will void all such entries submitted by such methods. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the contest at the actual time of the entry will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these rules. The authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domains associated with the submitted e-mail addresses.
