"We're excited to be partnering with the Celtics to present the Verizon Wireless Concert Series," Jamie Sullivan said, Associate Director of Marketing for Verizon Wireless. "With V CAST Music from Verizon Wireless, customers can choose from over 1.5 million songs, by artists including Augustana, for wireless download."

This special concert event supports Augustana's gold-certified Epic debut album All the Stars and Boulevards. The album, produced by premier rock producer Brendon O'Brien, was released in the summer of 2005 and has gained recent popularity due to the hit single Boston. The single has been featured on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 24 weeks with a peak at No. 34.

Augustana was formed in Greenville, Illinois, in the winter of 2004 by a group of college friends. This five-member alternative-rock band creates and plays music that is characterized by a unique sound filled with emotion that reflects their life on the road. It took nearly two years of touring before All the Stars and Boulevards gained the recognition it deserved as Augustana opened for acts such as Snow Patrol, Counting Crows, The Fray, Switchfoot, and Goo Goo Dolls. The band is now in the midst of headlining its own tour and has set the record for most CD sales ever at Colorado's famed Red Rocks Venue.

In the past year, Augustana has received significant national exposure with performances on The Tonight Show, The Late Show With David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ellen, MTV's TRL and songs featured on shows like Scrubs, Six Feet Under, and One Tree Hill.
