"We are pleased to offer our fans the exciting combination of Boston Celtics basketball vs. a high-quality opponent and a special postgame concert performed by one of the country's up and coming artists, Paula DeAnda," Shawn Sullivan said, Sr. Vice President, Ticket Sales, Marketing & Service for the Boston Celtics.

Paula DeAnda, a Texas-born 17-year-old musical artist whose ubiquitous debut single "Doing Too Much" introduced the world to her musical talent, is one of the newest young artists to rule the pop charts. The new single from her self-titled debut, "When It Was Me" is the #1 most added song at the Rhythm Radio format again this week, beating out Ciara, Mike Jones and Ne-Yo. Paula's hit single "Walk Away" continues to burn up the pop charts in the Top 5 at Top 40 and is still very much enjoying a massive audience of over 50 million.

Signed on the spot at her audition with Clive Davis last year, DeAnda's self-titled Arista debut, executive produced by Davis, is highlighted by three tracks co-written by DeAnda. The album boasts a star-studded list of producers, writers and performers such as Ne-Yo, Timbaland, Lil' Wayne, Frankie J, and Diane Warren, to name a few. A huge MySpacer herself, Paula has over 260,000 friends at MySpace, and is the #1 Most Searched Latin artist on the site above Shakira, RBD and Frankie J. The breakthrough video for "Walk Away" debuted in the Top 10 on MTV's "Total Request Live," and has remained in the Top 20 at Yahoo! Music since its worldwide debut there in December.

As a child growing up in the Vallejo, California area, Baby Bash, born Ronald Rey Bryant, was exposed to a variety of music. It was here that he got his musical start, teaming up with fellow Latino rappers and quickly gaining popularity in the area's underground Latin rap scene. After becoming impressed with Houston's music scene, he moved there to work with producer Happy Perez and in 2001 released his debut album Savage Dreams. After his first album's success Baby Bash was signed by Universal and released his second album Tha Smokin' Nephew, which included the hit single "Suga Suga" that reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Two years later Baby Bash produced the album Super Saucy.

The Celtics/Paula DeAnda event is presented by Verizon Wireless and sponsored by JAM'N 94.5, KISS 108 and The Boston Metro.
