RE/MAX Home Court Program Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN: To enter contest, complete the online entry form on celtics.com; mail completed entry to Boston Celtics, Attn: "RE/MAX Home Court Program", Corporate Partnership Services, 226 Causeway Street, 4th Floor, Boston, MA 02114. The Boston Celtics, RE/MAX, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, owners, employees and agents will not be responsible for lost, misdirected, late, postage due, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information whether caused by participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this contest, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries. Mechanically reproduced or automated entries are not permitted and will be deemed void. Limited to one entry per person. Incomplete and/or duplicate entries will be void. The sweepstakes runs from 1/11/09 to 5/1/09. All mail entries must be post marked by 5/1/09. RE/MAX and the Boston Celtics are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, torn, altered, incomplete or illegible entries. By entering this contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of RE/MAX and the Boston Celtics, which shall be final on all matters.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to individuals 18 years and older, who reside within a 75-mile radius of Boston. Contest not open to employees or immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings and children) of employees of the Boston Celtics, RE/MAX, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, owners, employees and agents. Void where prohibited, or otherwise restricted, by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release or prize will be forfeited. If winners cannot be located within three (3) business days of drawing date, alternate winners will be chosen and the prize will be awarded. All entries become property of RE/MAX and the Boston Celtics.

PRIZES: Three (3) winners will be chosen by a Selection Committee consisting of Celtics players/staff and/or local media. In the event a winner cannot be contacted within three (3) business days of application deadline date or declines the prize, another winner will be selected. Winner will have their home driveway renovated with sealant, basketball hoop/stanchion, equipment, and Celtics logo (as necessary). Renovation is at the discretion of the Boston Celtics. Winner will also participate in a basketball clinic to be held in their hometown, hosted by a Celtics player and/or Legend. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with the sweepstakes, unless otherwise indicated.

ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. There will be a total of three winners chosen.

MISCELLANEOUS: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these rules. In addition, all entrants agree that the Boston Celtics, RE/MAX the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, owners, employees and agents maintain the right to decide all matters and disputes arising from the sweepstakes, and their determination of the winners will be final and binding. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of any prize is permitted, except by sponsors due to prize availability and then with a prize of equal or greater value. By accepting prizes, winners agree that the Boston Celtics, REMAX, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, owners, employees and agents will have no liability and will be held harmless by winners for any liability, loss, injury, or damage to property or to person, including death, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, participation in, use or misuse of the prizes or participation in the contest, even if caused or contributed to by the negligence of sponsors. In consideration for being awarded prizes, winners hereby agree and consent, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of their names and/or likenesses in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by the Boston Celtics, RE/MAX, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, owners, governors, employees and agents, except where prohibited.

ADDITIONAL TERMS: The Boston Celtics, RE/MAX, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, owners, employees and agents reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, terminate, or suspend this sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond sponsors' control corrupt or impair the administration, security or fairness of the contest. The Boston Celtics, RE/MAX, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, owners, employees and agents are not responsible for any human error that may occur in the processing of the entries, nor are they responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, whether caused by the sender or any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this contest. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or web site; to be acting in violation of these rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods will void all such entries submitted by such methods. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the contest at the actual time of the entry will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these rules. The authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domains associated with the submitted e-mail addresses.
