Pierce, Allen and Rondo Light Up MSG as the C's Hammer the Knicks
Paul Pierce and Ray Allen were virtually unstoppable in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals as they combined for 70 points and led the Celtics to a 113-96 rout of the Knicks. Pierce and Allen shot a phenomenal 14-19 from beyond the arc and the C's improved their series lead to 3-0.
Not to be outdone, Rajon Rondo earned his sixth career playoff triple-double by dropping 15 points, 11 rebounds and 20 assists. Pierce finished with a game-high 38 points, followed closely by Allen who had 32.
