C's Resume Winning Ways as They Defeat the Timberwolves on the Road
The Celtics, despite giving up an early 25-point lead, got the job done in crunch time as they willed themselves to an 85-82 win over the Timberwolves Sunday night in Minnesota. Paul Pierce scored 12 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter to keep the Wolves from clawing their way to victory.
Kevin Garnett also had himself a night and put up 13 points, 13 rebounds and five assists, marking his 25th double-double of the season. Delonte West netted eight points and five assists in a spot start for Rajon Rondo, who sat with a finger injury.
