Despite a late scare, the Celtics were able to hold off the Pistons in the final minutes of Sunday night's game to grab a 118-111 victory in Boston. The C's caught fire from deep in the third quarter, hitting eight of their 13 3-pointers in the frame to grab a comfortable 11-point advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
Rajon Rondo finished with 11 points and a season-high 18 assists on the night, while the Pistons had just 17 assists as a team. Kris Humphries also notched a double-double with 20 points and a team-high 11 rebounds. Jeff Green led Boston in scoring with 27 points, with 13 of those coming in the third quarter alone.
