Nets 84, Celtics 91 - March 7, 2014
The Celtics gave the TD Garden faithful plenty to cheer about on Friday night as they defeated the Nets 91-84 in Boston. The C's withstood a third quarter run by Brooklyn that saw the home team's 20-point lead dwindle to just two, but clutch plays helped them pad the difference and secure a wire-to-wire victory.
Rajon Rondo led the Celtics with the team high in points (20), an impressive seven rebounds and the game high in assists (nine). Jeff Green followed suit with 15 points, Kelly Olynyk added 13 points off the bench and Jared Sullinger hauled in a game-high 12 boards.
