The Celtics, led by a red-hot Jerryd Bayless, took control during the second half of Wednesday night's game against the Hawks and rolled to a 115-104 victory at TD Garden. Boston trailed by as many as 15 points in the first quarter before kicking its game into another gear to open a five-game homestand on a high note.
Bayless scored 21 points in the second half alone and finished with a season-high 29 points in his first start with the Celtics. Rajon Rondo earned his sixth double-double in his last eight games with his 22-point, 11-assist performance.
