Celtics 91, Magic 89 - November 8, 2013
Clutch free throws and staunch defense allowed the Celtics to hold off the Magic in a gutsy 91-89 victory Friday night in Orlando. The Celtics trailed by as many as 12 points in the first quarter but they tightened the screws on offense and defense to earn their second-straight win.
Courtney Lee scored 11 of Boston's 29 points in the second quarter and finished with 13 points overall. Brandon Bass was also a force to be reckoned with on Friday, but you won't see his true impact on his box score line (16 points, seven rebounds). Bass' defense was infectious and allowed Boston to hold Orlando to just 39.8 percent shooting from the floor.
