Celtics 87, Raptors 93 - October 30, 2013
The Celtics fought back from a 16-point deficit but they eventually fell 93-87 in Wednesday night's season opener in Toronto. The C's ended the third quarter on a 23-8 run to tie the game heading into the final frame, but turnovers down the stretch allowed Toronto to claim the victory.
Jeff Green started the season in style, scoring a game-high 25 points to go with five rebounds. Vitor Faverani also impressed in his NBA debut, earning 13 points, three rebounds and three blocks. Rudy Gay led the Raptors with 19 points.
