The New York Knicks used 29 second-chance points to down a shorthanded Celtics team 100-85 Tuesday night in Boston. The Celtics, who were without starters Courtney Lee and Kevin Garnett, fell behind by double-digits early on in a game that saw them commit 20 turnovers.
Jeff Green earned himself a double-double with team highs of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Paul Pierce scored 16 points to go with six boards and six assists, while Jordan Crawford dropped 14 points in his first start as a Celtic.
