The Celtics used a 37-point second quarter to propel them to a 99-81 blowout victory over the Kings Wednesday night in Boston. Ten of the 11 Celtics players who took the floor scored, and six of those 10 players scored in double-figures. The C's shot 53.4 percent as a team.
Paul Pierce led Boston with a team-high 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Kevin Garnett chipped in 13 points, nine boards and a team-high five assists. Boston held Sacramento to just 39.2 percent shooting from the field.
