Knicks 89, Celtics 86 - January 24, 2013
The Celtics fought back to within striking distance from a 10-point, fourth quarter deficit Thursday night, but costly turnovers in the final minute sent them to an 89-86 loss at the hands of the visiting Knicks. Rajon Rondo did his best to keep the C's in the game by posting a league-leading fourth triple-double of the season.
Rondo's triple-double consisted of a team-high 23 points to go with 10 rebounds and a game-high 11 assists. Kevin Garnett added eight points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Boston held New York to just 38.6 percent shooting from the field.
