Celtics 90, Cavaliers 95 - January 22, 2013
Boston did its best to slow down Kyrie Irving, but his 40-point performance helped push the Cavaliers to a 95-90 win over the C's Tuesday night in Quicken Loans Arena. Rajon Rondo led Boston in points (17), rebounds (13) and assists (eight), but it wasn't enough to counter Irving's offensive onslaught.
Rookie Jared Sullinger posted another impressive stat line with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Kevin Garnett had 16 points, five rebounds and a game-high five blocked shots. Irving's 40-point performance was just one point shy of his career high.
