Celtics 79, 76ers 88 - October 21, 2012

The Celtics fell behind early in the second quarter and couldn't edge their way to victory as they lost their final preseason game 88-79 to the 76ers Sunday night in Boston. A third-quarter run helped the C's briefly recapture the lead before the Sixers answered with a run of their own to tip the scales in their favor for good.

Both starting guards for the Celtics logged double-doubles in the contest; Rajon Rondo scored 12 points and dished out 10 assists while committing just one turnover, and Jeff Green notched 12 points and 10 rebounds to go with four blocks and two steals.
