Kris Joseph missed a 3-pointer as the final buzzer sounded and the Celtics fell to the Nets 97-96 on Tuesday night in Boston. Mirza Teletovic hit the go-ahead free throw with 4.1 seconds remaining in the game to push the Nets ahead of the C's, who had led for most of the contest.

Paul Pierce drained six 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 29 points in Tuesday's loss. Pierce hit three of those 3-pointers in the third quarter, a frame that saw the C's shoot an efficient 67 percent from the field for 34 points. Courtney Lee also found his shot and finished with 13 points and four assists.
