Pierce's Offensive Explosion Not Enough To Carry C's At MSG
Paul Pierce put up the most points a Celtics player has scored since 2006, but it was not enough in New York as the Celtics fell to the Knicks 118-110 Tuesday night. Pierce exploded for a season-high 43 points.
Despite Pierce's best effort, the Knicks were unstoppable from 3-point range, finishing 19-of-32 on the night. Carmelo Anthony led the charge with an impressive triple-double of 35 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
