Shorthanded Celtics Fall To 76ers, Finish Road Trip 4-4

The Celtics finished up a brutal eight-game road trip with a 99-86 loss Friday night in Philadelphia, but may have suffered a far bigger loss when Mickael Pietrus was taken off the court on a stretcher in the second quarter with an apparent head injury.

Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett both had 20 points to lead the C's while Rajon Rondo handed out 17 assists. Elton Brand led the 76ers attack with 20 points and a game-high four steals.
