Celtics Fall Just Short In St. Patrick's Day Comeback Attempt
The Celtics used every ounce of St. Patrick's Day luck to fight back against the Nuggets but fell 98-91 Saturday night in Denver. Kevin Garnett led the charge for the C's with 22 points and nine rebounds.
Rajon Rondo put up a nice double-double with 12 points and 16 assists and Paul Pierce scored 22 points before fouling out. Kenneth Faried had the best game of his young Nuggets career with a dominant 18-point, 16-rebound night.
