BOSTON – The Boston Celtics announced today that they have acquired guard Jordan Crawford from the Washington Wizards in exchange for guard Leandro Barbosa and center Jason Collins.

“Jordan’s a scorer and he will provide versatility that will add great depth to our roster,” said Danny Ainge, Celtics President of Basketball Operations.

BOSTON – Jordan Crawford, a third-year guard out of Xavier, is headed to the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics dealt for Crawford prior to Thursday afternoon’s 3 p.m. trade deadline. Boston sent Leandro Barbosa, who is out for the season with a torn ACL, and Jason Collins to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Crawford.
