Re: The game:

"It was a good old fashioned butt kicking. That is what it was. I don’t think I have to described it that much, we all were sitting there and watched it."

Re: New York's effort:

"To their credit I think they played really locked in, really engaged and really stuck together. That’s now two out of three games where we haven’t. That’s really disappointing."

Re: What Boston needs to do to improve:

"We have to get more connected; we have to get more together. We don’t have a lot of time together with some of these guys that are playing for us right now. Those guys are really having some pretty good moments, the new ones. We have to get everyone back on one page playing as well as can. We have to analyze and look at what we’re doing collectively because we’re going through a drought right now, scoring. The way we defended, we wouldn’t have beaten them even if we scored tonight."

Rajon Rondo

Re: The game:

"We didn’t take anything away tonight. We gave them whatever they wanted. They are a three-point shooting team and they did that. They took away stuff from us and we didn’t take away anything from them."

Re: The Celtics getting used to his style of play:

"Jordan (Crawford) and I play two different styles. With time it will help but we don’t have any time. We have to get better each game."

Re: Chris Johnson:

"He is playing unbelievable. He is doing everything coach is asking from him and I am rooting for him."

Re: What decided the game:

"It was effort. It was everything. We didn’t do anything well individually and they exposed us."

Mike Woodson

Re: New York's offense:

"Our defense was triggering a lot of it. We got stops early in the game and our pace has really picked up. We are back to playing small ball again. Guys are shooting threes and feeling good about them. It is good to see."

Re: Three-game winning streak:

"I think guys are more committed now. There is a sense of urgency. There were a lot of things, in the beginning of the year, but we are playing better basketball now."

Re: Injury problems for the Knicks:

"Iman (Shumpert) sprained his shoulder. Beno (Udrih) left the game with flu-like symptoms. Kenyon (Martin) could have played if we needed him after rolling his ankle in the first half but we elected to sit him because Jeremy (Tyler) along with Cole (Aldrich) and Tim (Hardaway Jr.) on our bench played well which was nice to see."

Re: Jeremy Tyler:

"He played well. You go back to the Charlotte and Laker games he has given us some positive energy offensively. Obviously some of the hard work that he has put in is starting to pay off. He is giving us some positive results which is nice."

Carmelo Anthony

Re: The game:

"It felt good. You saw the level of focus we had coming into this game. The Celtics beat us previously but tonight was a different story."

Re: The Knicks' three-game winning streak:

"We are trying to figure it out. It is not going to happen for us overnight and not one person is going to do it. We are doing a great job as a team figuring it out."

Re: The difference in the team:

"When you make shots it makes it easier. Guys are moving the ball and guys are making shots. Everyone feels like they are having fun again."

Re: The Knicks' hot start:

"You cannot teach energy. Lately we have been very consistent in that area and we want to build on it."

Re: Playing through his teams' injuries:

"My focus has always been the same. Guys have to step up and sometimes have to take on a different role."

Tyson Chandler

Re: New York's season:

"We have had our ups and downs throughout the season. The thing is when you have those lows you have to be able to bounce back. We are starting to play better basketball."

Re: Jeremy Tyler and Cole Aldrich

"The young fellas have been great especially over the last couple of games. We know now we can rely on them and trust putting them out there."

Re: The three-game winning streak:

"We are really locking in and playing for one another. We are happy and fun and enjoying the game. When you lose a couple of games the team energy goes down and there is a cloud over the locker room. We had a couple of meetings and realized we love this game and we got basics and we are having fun again."
