San Antonio went on a 16-5 run in the last 6:33 of the first half to take a commanding 47-37 edge at the half. Guards Jason Hart (10 points) and Stephen Jackson (8 points) combined for 18 of the San Antonio’s 26 second quarter points, as the Spurs shot 56.3 from the floor in the quarter. But Glover took over in the third quarter, hitting all four of his shots from the floor to lead the Hawks offense, which sizzled, hitting 10 of their 16 field goal attempts, (62.5%) as the Hawks led 67-63 entering the final quarter.
The Spurs made a run in the fourth and tied the game on Michael Wright’s layup with 3:11 to go. But Bullock converted all five of his attempts from the line and Glover added three more free throws in the final 38.5 seconds to ice the victory.
Anthony Goldwire came off the bench to lead San Antonio with 18 points. Johnson and Bullock each chipped in with 14 points for the Hawks.

Neither team could mount much offense. Milwaukee hit just 36.7 percent from the floor while the Wizards shot just 37.5 percent. When the teams weren’t missing their shots, they were losing the ball as each team committed 19 turnovers.
Washington led 18-16 after one and stretched the lead to seven before Wilks made a three-point play to cut the lead to four at the half, 33-29. Both teams were ice cold in the third quarter combining to shoot just 9-for-30 (30 percent) from the field (0-for-5 from three-point territory). Rolan Roberts gave the Wizards a spark as he came off the bench with 1:52 left in the third and knocked home a quick six points to tie the game. However Scoonie Penn hit a free throw to make it 42-41 after three and the Bucks never trailed again.
Washington tied the game twice in the fourth quarter, 45-45 on a layup by Kris Lang and again at 47-47 on another Lang layup. But Wilks and Carroll each hit three-pointers in the next 1:07 and Milwaukee never looked back.
Wilks led all scorers with 11 points. Marcus Goree added 13 and nine boards while Dan Gadzuric scored 11 with nine boards for the Bucks. Rookie guard Juan Dixon led the Wizards 11 in a losing cause for the Wizards.

The fourth quarter was all Boston. A layup by Terquin Mott and a three by J.R. Bremer evened the game at 60-60 with 8:02 to go in the game. The teams traded baskets over the next four minutes and with 3:56 to go, the game was still even, 69-69. The Nets would not score again in the contest as they turned the ball over three times down the stretch, and Boston made the most of their opportunities. Joseph Forte hit a free throw to give Boston the lead for good, then hit a jumper and made a layup to give Boston a 75-69 lead. Derrick Allston and Mott each hit a pair of free throws in the last 32 seconds to ice the victory.
Boston fell behind early as Jason Collins and Brandon Armstrong each scored six points in the first quarter and the Nets led 16-4 with 3:10 remaining in the quarter. A three-pointer by Bremer, two free-throws by Greg Stempin and a jumper by Alston cut the deficit to 16-11 after one. The Nets built the lead back to 11 on the strength of five free-throws by Richard Jefferson, a three by Billy Thomas and jumpers by Victor Thomas and Brian Scalabrine before Celtics guard Omar Cook (9 points) took over in the last two minutes of the half. He made a three-point play, hit a three-point jumper and a made driving layup with 7.4 seconds left in the half to tie the game at 31-31.
The Celtics looked to be in command in the third quarter, taking a 47-42 at the 4:32 mark, led by Forte’s six points and five points by rookie Darius Songaila. But the Nets came back on the strength of six points each by Richard Jefferson and Brandon Armstrong to take their own five point lead at the end of the third quarter, 60-55.
Forte (14 points) led four Celtics in double-figures. Mott and Bremer scored 12 points each and Kedrick Brown threw in 11 points and blocked 3 shots. Jefferson led all scorers with 19 points and finished just shy of a triple double with 9 assists and 8 rebounds.

After trailing for most of the first quarter, the Knicks took their first lead with 2:23 left in the quarter on a pair of free throws by Frank Williams. They would trail again. Leading 41-35 at halftime, the Knicks went on a 10-1 run to start the third quarter and never looked back. Lavor Postell hit six free throws and Jonathan Kerner hit a pair of jumpers to give the Knicks a 51-36 lead midway through the quarter. The Knicks advantage never went below 14 points as Thomas scored 14 points in the quarter, shooting 4-for-4 from the floor, including two three-pointers for 14 points in the quarter.
Postell added 14 points, including 10 from the free throw line, for the Knicks. Damone Brown scored14 points to lead the 76ers attack. Nate Johnson and Johnny Taylor added 11 points each for Philadelphia.
