Brian Scalabrine Serves as RE/MAX Real Estate Host for a Day

WINCHESTER, MA (January 18, 2010) - Boston Celtics forward Brian Scalabrine showcased a $1.89 million RE/MAX Collection home in Winchester to prospective buyers yesterday, leading tours of the property at an Open House held by RE/MAX of New England. Along with RE/MAX Associate Kim Covino, Scalabrine gave potential buyers descriptions of the elaborate home's décor and amenities, and held a meet and greet with buyers and agents.

"Everyone had a great time and the house garnered a lot of interest," said RE/MAX Associate Kim Covino. "Brian did a wonderful job with the Open House and showing buyer's the nuances of the home."

The Winchester home is an expansive twelve-room, six bedroom, four and a half bath estate situated on a 21,000 square foot lot. Scalabrine took buyers from the gracious grand entry and columned dining area to the sun-filled granite kitchen and master bedroom with custom closets. The Celtic's forward also showed off the property's forty-foot portico, a spacious two-car garage complete with a carriage house, and the well-manicured grounds with a sunken garden.

"It's not too often I get to try someone else's job," Scalabrine stated. "The RE/MAX home was amazing, but so was the opportunity to meet some great people. The chance to try something fun and new like this was a blast."
