BOSTON - The Boston Celtics organization and players will thank fans for all their support during the 2010-2011 regular season by hosting Fan Appreciation Night at their final regular season home game on Wednesday, April 13.

The Celtics and their corporate partners have planned multiple exciting giveaways for fans in attendance, highlighted by the opportunity for one lucky fan to win a 2011 Kia Optima at halftime, as part of the Kia Performance Shootout. Twenty-thousand “It’s All About 18” posters provided by Sun Life Financial will be distributed at the turnstiles as Fans enter the building. Throughout the game, fans will have the chance to win Gatorade prize packs, MA Lottery Celtics Cash instant game tickets, custom Reebok shoes, Chipotle Burrito Bucks and Legal Sea Foods gift certificates. Additional t-shirts will be thrown out during the crowd favorite Suffolk University T-Shirt toss, and fans will be treated to a second Xfinity Parachute Drop sponsored by Comcast SportNet. New England Eye Center will award one full LASIK procedure as well as ten $500 gift certificates to lucky fans. After the game, a number of select fans will receive a player autographed sneaker to conclude Fan Appreciation Night.

“Fan Appreciation night is an opportunity for the entire Celtics organization to thank our fans, sponsors, and community partners for their incredible support throughout the year,” Celtics President Rich Gotham said. “We are very fortunate to have such loyal fans and we hope that their support will carry us through the playoffs as we pursue Banner 18.”

Along with the giveaways, Celtics All-Star Captain Paul Pierce will address the crowd prior to tip-off to thank fans for supporting the team throughout the 2010-2011 season.
