BOSTON - The Boston Celtics announced today that Hingham resident Rob Hale has joined the Boston Celtics investor group. Mr. Hale is President of Granite Communications, a telephone middleware company headquartered in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Mr. Hale has been recognized as a leading entrepreneur by several organizations and publications including being awarded Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010. He also owns FoxRock Properties, a Boston-based commercial real estate firm with over 1 million square feet of space.
Mr. Hale serves on the Board of Trustees for Brigham & Women’s Hospital, the South Shore YMCA, the Massachusetts Soldier’s Legacy Fund, and Deerfield Academy. Also, he has been a Big Brother for 20 years and is a graduate of Connecticut College, Class of ’88.
